About the Role
The Division of Management & International Business invites applications for a tenure-track position in Organizational Behavior at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor. The candidate must hold an earned doctorate in a relevant field and demonstrate high-level scholarly contributions or the potential for such contributions. We seek applicants with an interest in teaching negotiations and leadership, and a commitment to excellence in research, teaching, and collegiality.
This position offers a competitive salary along with research and travel support. Teaching responsibilities may include in-person or online undergraduate courses and/or MBA courses, delivered at our flagship Gene Rainbolt Graduate School of Business facility in Oklahoma City.
Responsibilities
- Conduct high-impact research in Organizational Behavior, with publications in premier outlets
- Teach undergraduate and/or MBA courses, including potential focus areas in negotiations and leadership
- Contribute to the academic mission of the Price College of Business and the Division of Management & International Business
- Collaborate with faculty across organizational behavior, human resource management, international business, strategic management, sports business, leadership, and legal studies
Requirements
- Earned doctorate in management or a related field
- Research record, teaching experience, and qualifications commensurate with the Assistant/Associate Professor level
Preferred Qualifications
- Interest and expertise in teaching leadership and negotiations
- Ability to collaborate with Division faculty
- Record of teaching success
About the Division and University
The Division of Management & International Business includes 25 full-time faculty members with research interests spanning organizational behavior, human resource management, international business, strategic management, sports business, leadership, and legal studies. The division offers undergraduate degrees in Management, Energy Management, International Business, and Sports Business, as well as certificates in Leadership, Legal Studies, and Human Resource Management. It also supports multiple master’s programs and Ph.D. concentrations in Organizational Behavior and Strategic Management.
Faculty research appears in premier outlets such as the Academy of Management Annals, Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of International Business Studies, and Strategic Management Journal. Several faculty serve in major editorial roles.
