Assistant/Associate/Professor- Farm Animal Medicine & Surgery- College of Veterinary Medicine

About the role

The successful candidate will be part of a 4-person team involved in delivering the farm animal component of the DVM curriculum. Duties include clinical duties, teaching, and research & scholarly activity.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care for farm animals and horses, including small ruminants, cattle, pet pigs, and camelids.
• Teach veterinary students in the Large Animal Clinic and related facilities.
• Contribute to research and scholarly activities relevant to farm animal medicine and surgery.
• Support the Animal Health Institute with clinical services and research.

Requirements

• DVM or equivalent degree.
• Evidence of excellent clinical skills.
• A strong commitment to meeting the needs of students.
• Eligibility for veterinary licensure in the State of Arizona.

Qualifications

• Diplomate status or eligibility for board certification by ACVIM, ACVS, ABVP, or ACT is preferred but not required.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a typical work schedule of 40 hours per week.
