About the role

The Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, invites applications for Assistant/Associate Professor of Family and Community Medicine.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while contributing to the education and development of future healthcare professionals in an academic setting.
  • Contribute to a dynamic academic learning climate committed to clinical and medical education excellence, collaboration, innovation, and patient advocacy.
  • Collaborate with residents and medical students in a collegial and friendly environment.

Requirements

  • M.D. or D.O. degree
  • American Board of Family Medicine certification, or completion of certification within two years of residency completion
  • Completion of a Family Medicine Residency Program from an ACGME accredited institution
  • Eligibility for an unrestricted Nevada medical, pharmacy, and DEA license
  • Malpractice coverage
  • Ability to obtain privileges at University Medical Center and other site locations as needed
  • Credentials must be obtained prior to the start of employment
