About the role

The position is a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track faculty position for fall and spring semesters, with the possibility of summer school and online teaching. Classes and other responsibilities are conducted primarily weekdays but may include some evening classes, independent studies, as well as some online responsibilities. Attendance will also be required at some evening and weekend events.

Responsibilities

Create and offer classroom and laboratory-based courses within the recently launched Construction Management degree program. Assist the program Chair in the program accreditation process. Advise students. Serve on various university committees. Teach undergraduate courses in Construction Management and other areas of competency. Teach both on-site and online.

Qualifications

  • A strong commitment to undergraduate Construction Management education with an emphasis on hands-on instruction and practical application.
  • A Master's or PhD degree in Construction Management, engineering, business, or construction-related field from an accredited program.
  • Absolutely must hold a Master's or PhD degree in Construction Management, engineering, business, or construction-related field from an accredited program.

  • Professional experience in the field of Construction Management is highly desired but not required.
  • Certification and/or licensure within Construction Management, Construction, or Engineering related fields will also be considered but are not required.
