About the role

Residential Program is seeking Assistant Program Operations Managers to join their team. This position serves as a management team member responsible for assisting the Program Operations Manager in the overall functioning of assigned residential sites.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a structured routine including house meetings, individual outings, meal preparation, ADL care, facilitating family visitations, and distributing medication while maintaining human rights.
  • Implement Positive Behavior Support and individual programs as identified in the Individual Service Plans.
  • De-escalate and manage crises to ensure the safety of others.
  • Follow organization policies, procedures, and management decisions.
  • Manage quality treatment, contracts, budgets, hiring, training, and retraining staff, and ensure proper coverage meets individuals' needs.
  • Support all Residential sites as needed.
  • Ensure all necessary equipment and inspections comply with regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • A minimum of an Associate's degree in Human Services or a related field, with one year of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to supervise or coordinate others in a residential setting and respond to emergencies.
  • A qualifying criminal background check, driving record, and a valid driver’s license are required.
  • A flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
  • A Tuberculin (TB) screening and physical examination are required upon hire, with a TB update every two years thereafter.

Preferred

  • Interest in Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Patient Care Assistant (PCA), or Home Health Aid (HHA) type work.
  • Students in Human Services, Psychology, or Sociology programs.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and demonstrated project management and leadership abilities.

Schedule

Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 1pm-11pm
