About the role

The Assistant Program Operations Manager position is within the Residential Services department based in Fall River, MA. The shift is Second Shift, Evening.

Responsibilities

• Provide a structured routine including house meetings, individual outings, meal preparation, ADL care, facilitating family visitations, and distributing medication.
• Implement Positive Behavior Support and individual programs as outlined in Individual Service Plans.
• Manage de-escalation and crisis situations to ensure the safety of others.
• Follow organization policies, procedures, and management decisions.
• Ensure quality treatment, contract compliance, budget management, staff hiring, training, and retraining, and proper coverage to meet individual needs.
• Support all Residential sites as needed.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards for equipment and inspections.

Requirements

• A minimum of an Associate’s degree in Human Services or a related field, with one year of relevant experience.
• Ability to supervise or coordinate others in a residential setting and respond to emergencies.
• A qualifying criminal background check, driving record, and valid driver's license are required.
• A flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
• A TB screening and physical examination are required upon hire, with a TB update every two years thereafter.

Preferred

• Interest in Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Patient Care Assistant (PCA), or Home Health Aid (HHA) type work.
• Students in Human Services, Psychology, or Sociology programs.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, and demonstrated project management and leadership abilities.
