Hacienda Community Development Corporation is a Latino-led organization dedicated to advancing the social and economic mobility of all communities. Founded in 1992, Hacienda CDC provides necessary housing and supportive services in Cully, a low-income, predominantly Latinx community. Today, the organization operates 11 affordable housing communities with over 917 affordable housing units in Northwestern Oregon. Hacienda CDC embraces a holistic approach to development and serves Latinos throughout the region with programs in community economic development, homeownership, and youth and family services. Over the last 30 years, it has grown to become Oregon's largest Latino-led, Latino-serving housing organization.
Role Summary
Join the Asset Management & Resident Services team at Hacienda CDC as an Asset Specialist, a newly created position dedicated to improving our housing communities. This role is perfect for an extremely organized individual who excels in coordinating multiple moving parts and has a passion for affordable housing and serving diverse communities.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma with at least five years of experience in similar roles
- Reliable access to a vehicle and a valid driver's license
- Strong organization and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of core project management concepts, such as workflows, process improvement, resource allocation, and critical path timelines
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible team player
- Tech savvy; experience working with cloud-based collaboration, file systems, project management, and presentation software
- At least intermediate Excel proficiency
- Extreme attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines
- Ability to work well independently, take initiative, and recognize when to ask for guidance and support
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Critical thinking, intellectual curiosity, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Some knowledge of landlord-tenant laws
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field, with at least two years' experience in asset management, property management, project coordination, or related administrative roles
- Knowledge of affordable housing
- Background in equitable development and working in a multicultural context
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish
