Summary of Essential Job Functions
- Processes interest forms with case managers
- Captures orientation/assessment for program participants
- Completes assessments (RAISEC, behavioral interview, job readiness, TABE) and selects participants for skills training and career coaching
- Facilitates enrollment tasks including orientation, intake, initial assessment, and related paperwork and data entry
- Affords support to career development activities as it relates to skills training with the Program Coordinator
- Maintains internal and external communication to ensure effective program functioning
- Maintains monitoring of program participants' progress and adherence to program guidelines
- Tracks program participants' attendance and performance with case managers
- Supports case managers in tracking participants' outcomes as it relates to the Individual Career Plan
- Maintains program participants' files and completes case notes bi-weekly
- Documents program participants’ outcomes, job placements, support services, and retention checks using the Birdseye Case Management System
- Provides retention assistance to all participants in the aftercare pool
- Collaborates with other staff to identify and assist program participants in overcoming barriers to completing training and employment
- Conducts retention checks on all program participants after job placement (first 30-days weekly, 31-180 days bi-weekly, 181-360 days monthly)
- Affords support to program participants during the final phase of skills training completion
- Maintains monitoring of program participants' adherence to program guidelines and progress 1 year after job placement, including retention checks and assistance with support services
- Identifies potential employer partners and maintains partner relationships
- Utilizes the LCF’s Dual Customer Service Model to provide support to employer partners
