Gannon University’s Dahlkemper School of Business (DSB) is currently seeking a Graduate Assistant for the Fall 2026/Spring 2027 semesters. This one-year appointment includes remitted tuition benefits and a stipend, and requires a commitment of 10 hours per week.
About the role
The Graduate Assistant reports to the Program Directors of the MBA-BA and Online MBA and works within a team that includes a Program Assistant and student employees. The role supports the day-to-day operations of the Business School through marketing, student support, program research, and office management.
Responsibilities
- Marketing Efforts
- Organizing on-campus professional events (e.g., Speaker Series)
- Managing social media, including student highlights
- DSB Support Activities
- Assisting with retention and recruitment activities
- Working with students to help them navigate University processes
- Covering undergraduate classes or administering exams when needed
- Supporting faculty research and activities
- Program Research
- Conducting curriculum research for DSB programs
- Researching information for program changes
- Analyzing current program assessment data
- Office Management
- Providing support for and filling in for the DSB Program Assistant
- Performing additional duties as assigned by the CEB Dean’s Office, MBA Program Directors, DSB Chairs, or other leadership
Requirements
- Must be an admitted graduate student actively pursuing a degree full-time
- Ability to work 10 hours per week in an office setting

- Former DSB 4+1 student
