About the role
Assemble components, review order details, and follow drawings and standards to build machine products. Identify and document material or hardware shortages and follow inventory processes.
Responsibilities
- Report non-conforming parts/materials to supervisors.
- Input and scan work order data using RF scanners and complete required reports.
- Consult leads or supervisors to resolve assembly issues.
- Ensure defect-free assembly through standard procedures, inspections, and repairs.
- Participate in continuous process improvements.
- Meet efficiency, productivity, utilization, and shipping targets.
- Adhere to safety protocols and PPE requirements.
- Perform safety/environmental inspections and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Operate overhead crane system and perform related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Basic mechanical education.
- 6 months related experience.
- Ability to read drawings.
- Ability to obtain forklift certification.
- Ability to use measuring tools.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
Preferred Skills
- Advanced mechanical knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, drive systems, or engine assembly.
- PLC and Can-Bus knowledge is a plus.
