Armed Security Officer Clearance Required Full Time Weekdays

About the role

As a Security Guard Armed Patrol Driver with security clearance in Culpeper, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Aero/Defense. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, controlled areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, access concerns, and facility hazards.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation in accordance with site requirements.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with Allied Universal training, licensing requirements, and site-specific post orders.

Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Maintain an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
