Security Officer Clearance Required Full Time

About the role

As a Front Desk Security Professional supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor security-related systems, and provide exceptional customer service. You will serve as a professional, approachable presence while communicating clearly with guests and site personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, employees, and contractors at a front desk location within a technology, media, and telecommunications environment by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Greet visitors, manage access requests, verify credentials, issue visitor badges, and maintain accurate visitor and entry records in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor front desk activity, access points, alarms, and communications equipment, reporting unusual activity or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Maintain a professional, courteous presence that helps to deter unauthorized access while supporting a welcoming experience for authorized visitors and personnel.

Requirements

• Possess an active DoD Top Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Preferred qualifications:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Alarm panel experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Possess a Guard Card or license.
