Area Supervisor - Fairfax County

About the role

ACMS is looking for a dedicated individual to join our leadership team in Fairfax County! Leadership is the heart of our mission, “Keeping Kids Safe”. The Leadership Team overseeing and managing their local School Crossing Guard programs, in this field-based position. ACMS is the largest School Crossing Guard Company in the nation, with over 40 years of experience serving over 275 cities, school districts, and police departments, dedicated to child safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the local School Crossing Guard program.
• Work with crossing guards at field assignments before and after school.
• Respond quickly to job site needs.
• Lift and transport equipment weighing up to 20 pounds.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation and clean driving record.
• At least 18 years of age.
• 1‑2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
• Preference for candidates residing in Fairfax County (Springfield, Alexandria, Annandale).

Pay

$23.50 per hour, 4.5 hours per day, on school days only.

Schedule

Seasonal, part‑time position following the school calendar; no work during summer, school breaks, holidays, or teacher workdays.
