Area Supervisor

About the role

The Area Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing a specific area of the store and managing the general operations and supervision of the store. This position is vital for maintaining a safe, secure, and customer-friendly environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure shopping environment by practicing safe behaviors and immediately correcting or reporting any unsafe conditions or practices.
• Ensure proper merchandise presentation and maintain a clean work area at all times.
• Execute and supervise Company operational processes as needed.
• Manage the front-end operations, train and coach associates, and ensure adherence to Company standards.
• Supervise fitting rooms and ensure compliance with Company policies.
• Perform administrative duties as assigned by the Store Manager.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications and Special Skills

• Physical requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop; occasional pushing, pulling, and lifting more than 25 lbs; use of janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders, and other supplies.
• ADA considerations: Ability to use all Store equipment, including PDTs, registers, and PCs as required; ability to spend up to 100% of working time standing, walking, and moving around the Store.
