Area Supervisor

About the role

The Area Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing a specific area of the store and ensuring smooth operations. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, this position is vital for maintaining a safe, secure, and customer-friendly environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure shopping environment
• Treat all customers, associates, and leaders with respect
• Ensure proper merchandise presentation and maintain a clean work area
• Execute and supervise Company operational processes as needed
• Manage the front-end operations, fitting rooms, and administrative duties
• Train and coach associates on various procedures
• Ensure compliance with loss prevention policies and procedures
• Manage associate schedules and ensure proper inventory management

Qualifications and Special Skills Required

• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Fluency in English
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Ability to work evenings and weekends

Physical Requirements

• Ability to use all store equipment, including PDTs, registers, and PCs
• Regularly stand, walk, and move around the store
• Spend up to 100% of working time standing, walking, and moving around the store
• Occasionally push, pull, and lift more than 25 lbs
• Use janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders, and other assigned supplies
