About the role
Rug Doctor is hiring a full-time, Monday-Friday Area Service Representative (ASR) to provide delivery of products and service of display/equipment while delivering superior customer service to established retail accounts. The ASR ensures rental displays are clean, stocked, and well-maintained at multiple retail locations on an assigned route. This includes inspecting, cleaning, and servicing rental machines. The role also involves implementing new and improved processes and procedures as needed. The ASR represents Rug Doctor’s confidence and safety while providing customer-friendly service.
Responsibilities
- Maintain rental displays at multiple retail locations on an assigned route, ensuring they are clean, stocked, and well-maintained.
- Inspect, clean, and service rental machines.
- Implement new and improved processes and procedures as needed.
- Work independently and manage productivity in a fast-paced environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service to retail accounts.
- Drive a company vehicle for consecutive hours daily.
Qualifications
- Desire to learn and practice company standards.
- Friendly with exceptional communication skills and an outgoing personality.
- Customer service-oriented with mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work independently, solve problems, and self-manage productivity.
- Basic computer skills.
- Available full-time, 38-40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED (preferred).
- Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record.
Requirements
- Meet physical requirements: bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting/raising up to 50 lbs from ground to higher levels, and manually pushing/pulling up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to work in various climates (hot, cold, etc.).
- Ability to drive a vehicle for consecutive hours in a day.
- Consent to complete a criminal background inquiry, non-DOT physical, and pass a drug screen to qualify for employment.
