Area Manager-Urgent Care

About the role

The Area Manager for Retail Health oversees and manages the daily operations of multiple affiliated Retail Health and ancillary service locations in the North Region or Central Region. This role involves guiding high-performing teams, fostering strong camaraderie among Area Managers, and maintaining the highest quality clinical and service experience for every customer and team member.

Responsibilities

• Engage in and coach the team to achieve the Retail Health vision of transforming health care through delivering an exceptional experience to its customers and team members.
• Maintain broad ownership of all administrative functions including operations, marketing, finance, human resource management, medical and business information systems, and ancillary planning and development.
• Travel to various clinics on a regular basis and be available during business hours (including night/weekends/holidays/on-call rotation).
• Maintain the highest quality clinical and service experience for every customer and team member at all assigned sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree will be considered
• Master’s degree preferred
• Three (3) years of experience in professional or technical role required (urgent care or healthcare field preferred)
• Three (3) years of experience in a supervisory or lead capacity

Benefits
