About the Role

Operations roles at Amazon place you at the heart of our logistics process, from customer clicks to doorstep deliveries. You'll design, improve, and manage systems that connect people, products, and places on a large scale. This full-time, early-career position is based in one of Amazon’s fulfillment centers, sort centers, delivery stations, or other operations buildings. It’s a hands-on role where you’ll take ownership, solve real-world challenges, and see the direct impact of your decisions on customers daily.

Responsibilities

  • Support, mentor, and motivate 50-100 direct-report Amazon Associates.
  • Work independently in an autonomous environment.
  • Stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
  • Work shifts that include nights, weekends, and/or holidays based on business needs.
  • Oversee truck deliveries, handle and sort packages using pallet jacks, and operate PIT equipment (where applicable).
  • Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
  • Climb and descend stairs (where applicable).
  • Lead team huddles, walk the floor to monitor operations, and adjust staffing and resources as needed.
  • Review shift performance data and hand off priorities to the next shift.

Qualifications

  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a bachelor’s or master’s degree (all degree requirements must be met before the first day).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program for Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering, or a related field.

Pay

The base salary range for this position varies by location. Examples include:

  • USA, AL, Birmingham: $65,200.00 - $75,000.00 USD annually
  • USA, AL, Tanner: $65,200.00 - $75,000.00 USD annually
  • USA, FL, Deltona: $65,200.00 - $75,000.00 USD annually
  • USA, FL, Jacksonville: $65,200.00 - $75,000.00 USD annually
  • USA, FL, Jupiter: $65,200.00 - $75,000.00 USD annually
  • USA, FL, Miami: $65,200.00 - $75,000.00 USD annually
  • USA, FL, Milton: $65,200.00 - $75,000.00 USD annually
  • USA, FL, Naples: $65,200.00 - $75,000.00 USD annually
  • USA, FL, Port St. Lucie: $65,200.00 - $75,000.00 USD annually
  • USA, FL, Temple Terrace: $65,200.00 - $75,000.00 USD annually

Final compensation includes sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs), determined by experience, qualifications, and location.

Schedule

Shifts typically follow a fixed 4-day work week with 3 days off, varying by site. Expect nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
