Area Manager
About the role
LendNation is seeking an Area Manager to lead stores in the Central Mississippi region. Key responsibilities include meeting operating and profitability goals, ensuring exceptional customer service, and managing day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
- Meet all area operating and profitability goals and objectives.
- Ensure exceptional customer service is provided to all customers.
- Ensure all transactions are completed in compliance with all Federal, State, and local laws.
- Ensure all company operational policies and procedures are followed.
- Document and resolve all customer/employee comments and complaints or direct issues to proper management personnel for resolution.
- Recruit, hire, train, evaluate, and discipline team members as needed.
- Perform and ensure that all performance reviews are provided in a timely manner.
- Take a lead role in the development and promotion of effective career development programs within the area.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with local banking institutions and competitors.
- Review operational results on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Develop and execute plans to improve branch and area performance as needed.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase total market share and revenues.
- Provide operational support and resolve day-to-day issues by working with all departments.
- Monitor all safety/security standards, and report problems to appropriate management or security personnel.
- Audit and report area locations as needed.
- Respond to all emergency calls as needed.
- Perform local travel as needed to support branch activities.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-year experience in a multi-unit retail operations environment preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent management skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to coach and develop people.
- Experience in customer service/banking/collections or retail industries preferred.
- Must have safe, secure, and reliable private transportation to make regular bank cash deposits while minimizing risk to self and QC property.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
