About the role
The Area Manager at Jushi Holdings Inc. will shape the future of the cannabis industry, overseeing the in-store customer experience and driving sales and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Ensure proper hiring and training of staff within each location
- Source, interview, hire, and train Dispensary Management across all locations
- Provide regular feedback on performance, develop individual development plans, coach, and issue disciplinary action
- Communicate effectively to ensure efficient operations at the store and district levels
- Execute problem-solving approaches and design short-term solutions, working with business partners and team members to achieve long-term goals
- Drive the implementation of company programs, supporting the general management team to develop and implement action plans
- Monitor and report on competitor activities, key tools, and success stories
- Manage sales, profitability, labor, and costs, gather analytics data, and report to the Director
- Oversee and assign tasks to retail leadership teams, regularly visiting locations to monitor initiatives and work directly with teams
- Review store environments to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement, providing coaching to the store management team
- Create a consistent in-store experience for customers, ensuring compliance in all retail activities
- Maintain a professional work environment that drives performance, mentoring, motivating, and inspiring team members
- Support General Managers and assist with initiatives, developing strategies to achieve sales goals
- Monitor marketing and inventory strategies to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance standards are met
- Adhere to all state regulatory cannabis policies and procedures and changes, ensuring management and stores maintain compliance with all regulations
- Perform any other job-related duties as may be assigned
Requirements
- 10+ years of previous Sales/Management experience
- Demonstrated cross-discipline execution of brand and marketing strategy
- Dynamic, creative, and passionate about brand development and innovative marketing
- Expertise in retail with experience managing multiple retail locations
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong organization and planning skills
- Clear communication skills, both orally and in writing
- Ability to build relationships
Qualifications
- MS Office proficiency with the ability to utilize and navigate multiple software platforms
- Flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, opening and closing
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
