About the role
This position involves various responsibilities including data and digital literacy, environmental protection, operational excellence, partnership collaboration, employee health and safety, asset protection, EHS training delivery, risk management, process improvement, influential communication, transportation operations, and respect for individuals.
Responsibilities
- Articulates levers influencing data and ensures data quality.
- Develops and implements technology changes across multiple processes.
- Operates tools and equipment for evaluating air, water, and waste pollution.
- Supports regulatory visits and prepares audit reports.
- Interprets and evaluates compliance status reports and risk management practices.
- Implements environmental policies and practices ensuring compliance with environmental legislation.
- Explains operational functions and key roles within the organization.
- Identifies primary operational functions and locates SOP and OBW information.
- Participates in OSHA and other regulatory inspections.
- Maintains health and safety records according to OSHA guidelines.
- Monitors facilities for safety hazards and uses quality evaluation tools.
- Works with tools for theft prevention and investigates security breaches.
- Ensures proper completion of transportation-related documents and complies with DOT regulations.
- Drives continuous improvements in critical processes.
- Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates.
- Strives for excellence by displaying curiosity, taking calculated risks, and encouraging learning from mistakes.
- Strives for continuous improvements in processes and adopts new technologies.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of data collection modes, tools, and analytics.
- Understanding of environmental policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of organizational processes, root cause analysis techniques, and SOPs.
- Knowledge of stakeholder identification, communication, and engagement techniques.
- Knowledge of OSHA guidelines, safety, and food safety auditing processes.
- Knowledge of asset protection policies, environmental health and safety laws, and regulations.
- Knowledge of risk management processes, risk assessment reports, and risk management tools.
- Knowledge of training methodologies, content development processes, and organizational training lifecycles.
- Knowledge of transportation laws, regulations, and safety rules.
