About the role

This position involves various responsibilities including data and digital literacy, environmental protection, operational excellence, partnership collaboration, employee health and safety, asset protection, EHS training delivery, risk management, process improvement, influential communication, transportation operations, and respect for individuals.

Responsibilities

  • Articulates the levers that influence data and ensures data quality.
  • Develops and implements technology changes across multiple processes.
  • Operates tools and equipment for evaluating air, water, and waste pollution.
  • Supports regulatory visits and prepares audit reports.
  • Interprets and evaluates compliance status reports and risk management practices.
  • Participates in evaluations of pollution control and management.
  • Implements environmental policies and practices ensuring compliance with environmental legislation.
  • Explains operational functions and key functional roles of assigned department or unit.
  • Identifies primary operational functions of the organization and locates SOP and OBW information.
  • Ensures all first aid equipment is operational and maintains health and safety records according to OSHA guidelines.
  • Monitors facilities for safety hazards and participates in root cause identification processes for accidents.
  • Works with tools for theft prevention, investigates security breaches, and assists in implementing access control procedures.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission values and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Ensures the proper completion of documents required by applicable laws, regulations, and safety rules involving materials transportation.
  • Monitors and evaluates performance metrics for transportation management.
  • Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates.
  • Strives for excellence by displaying curiosity, taking calculated risks, and encouraging learning from mistakes.
  • Drives continuous improvements by adopting and encouraging the use of new technologies and skills.
  • Respects individuals by building high performing teams, embracing differences, and creating a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected.

Qualifications

Requires a combination of education and experience, typically a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field plus 5+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Specific technical certifications may be required for certain positions.
