About the role
This position involves various responsibilities including data and digital literacy, environmental protection, operational excellence, partnership collaboration, employee health and safety, asset protection, EHS training delivery, risk management, process improvement, influential communication, and transportation operations.
Responsibilities
- Articulates the levers that influence data and ensures data quality.
- Develops and implements technology changes across multiple processes.
- Operates tools and equipment for evaluating air, water, and waste pollution.
- Supports regulatory visits and prepares audit reports.
- Interprets and evaluates compliance status reports and risk management practices.
- Develops and integrates environmental considerations into process design.
- Ensures compliance with environmental legislation.
- Owns project activity and tasks assigned by others.
- Solves simple business issues.
- Participates in OSHA and other regulatory inspections.
- Maintains health and safety records according to OSHA guidelines.
- Monitors facilities for safety hazards.
- Applies continuous improvement processes and evaluates impacts on quality.
- Works with specific tools for theft prevention.
- Assists in the implementation of access control procedures.
- Generates standard loss and shrinkage reports.
- Monitors and evaluates performance metrics.
- Reviews accident files for accuracy.
- Coordinates and oversees job-related activities.
- Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates.
- Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Strives for excellence by displaying curiosity, taking calculated risks, and encouraging learning from mistakes.
- Drives continuous improvements and supports others through change.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Data collection modes techniques and tools data analytics.
- Knowledge of Environmental policies and procedures applicable federal state and local laws and regulations involving the environment.
- Knowledge of Organizational processes root cause analysis techniques department workflows Standard Operating Procedures SOPs and One Best Way OBW processes.
- Knowledge of Stakeholder identification stakeholder communication stakeholder engagement techniques stakeholder management effectiveness tools and methods.
- Knowledge of OSHA guidelines compliance safety and food safety auditing processes regulatory inspection processes emergency evacuations plans.
- Knowledge of Training methodologies training content development processes organizational training lifecycles.
- Knowledge of Laws regulations and safety rules regarding materials transportation Department of Transportation DOT Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance and state laws and regulations vehicle maintenance HazMat bill of ladings Compliance Safety Accountability basics other transportation paperwork.
