This position involves various responsibilities including data and digital literacy, environmental protection, operational excellence, partnership collaboration, employee health and safety, asset protection, EHS training delivery, risk management, process improvement, influential communication, transportation operations, and respect for individuals.
Responsibilities
- Articulate levers influencing data and ensure data quality.
- Develop and implement technology changes across multiple processes.
- Evaluate air, water, and waste pollution.
- Support regulatory visits and prepare audit reports.
- Integrate environmental considerations into process design.
- Interpret compliance status reports and risk management practices.
- Develop company policies and practices relating to environmental risks.
- Deliver project activities and tasks assigned by others.
- Solve simple business issues.
- Participate in OSHA and other regulatory inspections.
- Ensure all first aid equipment is operational.
- Maintain health and safety records according to OSHA guidelines.
- Monitor facilities for safety hazards.
- Apply continuous improvement processes and evaluate their impacts on quality.
- Implement internal and external audit requirements.
- Create action plans to address audit findings.
- Validate claim records and work with workers compensation case managers for investigation of claims.
- Work with specific tools for theft prevention.
- Investigate security breaches, thefts, and vandalism.
- Generate standard loss and shrinkage reports.
- Support the development and use of practices for reducing loss and shrinkage.
- Conduct risk assessments.
- Document the key steps of a specific risk management process and associated procedures.
- Implement or manage risk management for assigned area.
- Evaluate employee risk awareness and train employees as needed.
