Area Leader (Manager) Trainee

About the role

As an Area Leader Trainee, you will directly oversee 12-14 store locations in a fast-paced retail environment. This in-depth training program typically lasts 12 months and is designed to prepare you for a key operational role with significant career growth potential. Upon appointment as an Area Leader, you will receive a company vehicle for business use.

Responsibilities

• Staffing, training, and supervising Store Leaders
• Implementing merchandising programs
• Controlling cash and inventory
• Motivating and team-building
• Promoting excellent customer service
• Managing profit and loss, including budget planning, maximizing sales, and controlling expenses
• Setting performance goals and objectives while monitoring results with upper management
• Performing repeated bending, standing, and reaching, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds

Requirements

• A 4-year degree from an accredited college or university in a related field or 5+ years of experience managing district or regional operations for retail/commercial, or a large single commercial store with multiple managers and 100+ employees
• A valid Driver’s License from the state of residence while maintaining automotive liability insurance during employment
• Ability to multi-task and be self-motivated
• Previous multi-unit management experience is preferred

$18.00 - $32.00 hourly
