Area Leader (Manager) Trainee

About the role

As an Area Leader Trainee, you will directly oversee 12-14 store locations in a fast-paced retail environment. This in-depth training program typically lasts 12 months and is designed to prepare you for a key operational role with significant career growth potential. Upon completion, you may advance into various career paths within 2-5 years. A company vehicle will be provided for business use once you are appointed to take over a district.

Responsibilities

• Staffing, training, and supervising Store Leaders
• Implementing merchandising programs
• Controlling cash and inventory
• Motivating and team-building
• Promoting excellent customer service
• Managing profit and loss, including budget planning, maximizing sales, and controlling expenses
• Setting performance goals and objectives while monitoring results with upper management

Requirements

• A 4-year degree from an accredited college or university in a related field or 5+ years of experience managing district or regional operations for retail/commercial, or a large single commercial store with multiple managers and 100+ employees
• A valid Driver’s License from the state of residence while maintaining automotive liability insurance during employment
• The ability to multi-task, be self-motivated, perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds

Previous multi-unit management experience is preferred.

$43,888.00 - $91,944.00 annual
