Area Leader (Manager) Trainee

As an Area Leader Trainee, you will directly oversee 12-14 store locations in a fast-paced work environment, focusing on training employees to provide exceptional customer service and driving operational success.

The Area Leader training program typically lasts 12 months, with incredible career growth potential. Within 2-5 years, Area Leaders can advance into key operational roles tailored to their career goals. Upon appointment as an Area Leader, you will receive a company vehicle for business use.

Responsibilities

• Staffing, training, and supervising Store Leaders
• Implementing merchandising programs, controlling cash and inventory, and motivating teams
• Promoting excellent customer service and team-building
• Managing profit and loss, including budget planning, maximizing sales, and controlling expenses
• Setting performance goals and objectives while monitoring results with upper management
• Performing repeated bending, standing, and reaching, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds

Requirements

• A 4-year degree from an accredited college or university in a related field or 5+ years of experience managing district or regional operations for retail/commercial, or a large single commercial store with multiple managers and 100+ employees
• A valid Driver’s License from the state of residence while maintaining automotive liability insurance during employment
• The ability to multi-task and be self-motivated
• Previous multi-unit management experience is preferred
