About the role
Manage a team of 15–40 part-time Service Valets, ensuring smooth, safe, and on-time operations. Ideal for a hands-on supervisor who thrives on problem-solving, data-driven decisions, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Onboard, train, and coach Service Valets to deliver high-quality waste, recycling, and compost collection.
- Conduct regular team meetings and safety checks to reinforce best practices and service standards.
- Manage schedules, approve timecards, and keep operations within budget.
- Foster a culture of accountability, open communication, and continuous improvement.
- Step in to ensure uninterrupted service and visit properties to review quality, complete audits, and resolve issues.
- Use the iValet dashboard to track performance and ensure timely service completion.
- Respond quickly and professionally to resident or property concerns.
- Ensure Service Valets have the tools, equipment, and access needed for their routes.
- Assist with hiring, training, and onboarding new Service Valets.
- Pick up and distribute supplies, PPE, and containers as needed.
- Monitor staffing levels and manage costs with your Operations Manager.
- Support special projects or service recovery efforts as assigned.
- Oversee company vehicle maintenance and ensure fleet safety standards are met.
Requirements
- At least one year of prior supervisory experience overseeing a team or crew in a hands-on environment.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite and learning new platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret reports and make data-driven decisions.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Quick problem-solving and adaptability to address issues and find solutions.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable walking long distances (including stairs) and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Tolerant of disagreeable odors (part of the job).
Pay
$22 – $24 per hour. Final compensation may vary based on location, experience, and skill set.
Schedule
Sunday – Thursday, 6:00 PM – 12:30 AM core hours, plus two flexible hours to complete an 8-hour shift. Schedule may vary based on business needs.
Work Environment
70% field-based / 30% remote administrative. Company vehicle provided.
