As Area General Manager for La Playa Hotel and Hotel Carmel, you will provide hands‑on leadership across both properties, driving financial performance, cultivating culture, and ensuring every guest leaves with a story worth telling. You’ll partner closely with ownership and corporate leadership, translating vision into daily excellence and turning that excellence into lasting reputation. You’ll embody the belief that luxury is the feeling guests carry home, not just marble floors or thread counts.
Responsibilities
- Drive financial performance of both boutique luxury properties
- Cultivate a positive, guest‑centric culture among associates
- Ensure every guest receives a memorable experience worth sharing
- Partner with ownership groups and corporate leadership to translate strategic vision into daily operations
- Monitor operational excellence and uphold brand reputation
Qualifications
- 10+ years leading boutique, independent luxury properties with a guest‑centric, forward‑thinking approach
- Proven ability to balance the art of hospitality with disciplined operational and financial accountability
- Natural fluency working alongside ownership groups and corporate stakeholders
- Gift for inspiring associates and building a culture guests can feel the moment they arrive
