About the role

We are seeking an Area Director of Revenue Management to shape the revenue management and distribution strategy for multiple Makeready properties. This role requires a forward-thinking leader with a minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in Revenue Management, including at least 3 years as a Director of Revenue Management for a hotel or multi-property group.

Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic revenue initiatives across multiple Makeready hotels.
  • Lead rate, pricing, and inventory strategy to maximize profitability.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable plans.
  • Partner with property and corporate teams to deliver results that align with brand and market goals.
  • Stay ahead of trends and bring a creative approach to an ever-changing marketplace.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in Revenue Management, including at least 3 years as a Director of Revenue Management for a hotel or multi-property group.
  • Experience managing revenue for both branded and independent assets preferred.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth, improving forecast accuracy, and optimizing performance across multiple markets.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience managing and mentoring revenue management teams.
  • Proficiency in Opera PMS, IDeaS, and iHotelier (or equivalent systems).
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
