About the role
This position serves as the Area Catering Sales Manager for both the DoubleTree by Hilton McLean Tysons and the Courtyard by Marriott McLean Tysons. The successful candidate will lead sales efforts, manage catering operations, and ensure high standards of customer satisfaction.Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies for catering services.
- Manage and train staff to meet sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
- Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Collaborate with hotel management to align catering goals with overall business objectives.
- Respond to client inquiries and manage event bookings.
- Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel catering sales and operations.
- Proven track record of increasing sales and revenue.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
