ArcGIS Consultant

About the role

SymSoft Solutions is seeking a dedicated ArcGIS Consultant to join our talented team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience as an ArcGIS Consultant, with a strong background in geographic information systems and spatial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with clients to design and implement ArcGIS solutions that address their unique needs.
• Leverage GIS expertise to provide insights that inform decision-making processes and create innovative spatial data solutions.
• Promote environmental sustainability and enhance operational efficiency for clients through ArcGIS solutions.
• Contribute to the success of onsite projects, working independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an ArcGIS Consultant, with a strong background in geographic information systems and spatial analysis.
• Hands-on expertise with ArcGIS software, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and associated tools.
• Familiarity with GIS data management, processing, and analysis, including vector and raster data.
• Proficient in scripting and automating tasks within ArcGIS using Python or other relevant programming languages.
• Experience with spatial database management, SQL, and integration of GIS data with other databases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on deriving insights from geographic data.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Geography, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or related field.
• Certification as an Esri ArcGIS Desktop Professional or similar is a plus.
