Technical Consultant - ArcGIS

Overview

This role involves collaborating with customers to define and implement geospatial solutions using the ArcGIS platform. You will evaluate business goals to solve complex GIS challenges, supporting Defense and Intelligence sectors by leveraging location intelligence for informed decision-making. The position requires designing, configuring, and advising on GIS workflows, ensuring optimal platform utilization, and demonstrating technical solutions to diverse audiences. Collaboration with IT teams to align technical and business objectives is essential.

Responsibilities

• Identify, design, and certify GIS workflows for ArcGIS
• Provide platform configuration guidance and best practices
• Highlight the value of location in customer workflows and drive ROI
• Recommend strategies and solutions for implementation and migration
• Present technical demos to various organizational levels
• Collaborate with IT to align technical and business goals

Qualifications & Skills

• 5+ years supporting enterprise GIS solutions with ArcGIS
• Experience in GIS system design, implementation, and administration
• Proficiency with Esri software capabilities including spatial analysis, 3D visualization, and APIs
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• US citizenship with an active or recent Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
• Bachelor's in geography, GIS, STEM, or related fields; Master's preferred
• Optional: Python scripting, defense/intelligence domain knowledge, Security+ certification, cloud and IT integration experience
