Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement GIS solutions to support organizational goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design GIS projects
  • Conduct data analysis and provide insights to inform decision-making
  • Train and mentor colleagues on GIS tools and techniques
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in GIS technology

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geology, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in GIS
  • Experience with ArcGIS software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field
  • Experience with advanced GIS tools and technologies
  • Leadership experience in a GIS-related role

Skills

  • Proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Experience with geospatial data modeling and analysis
  • Knowledge of web mapping technologies (e.g., OpenLayers, Leaflet)
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, QGIS)
