Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and process customer invoices and billings
- Perform Time & Material (T&M) billing for projects
- Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balances
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries
- Apply cash receipts and reconcile customer accounts
- Generate aging reports and assist with collection activities
- Review contract terms and billing requirements to ensure accurate invoicing
- Maintain customer records and supporting documentation
- Collaborate with project managers and operations teams regarding billing status and collections
- Assist with month-end close and account reconciliations
- Support additional accounting and administrative projects as needed
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of billing and/or accounts receivable experience
- Construction, electrical, or related industry experience strongly preferred
- Experience with Time & Material (T&M) billing required
- Experience with Viewpoint Spectrum or similar construction accounting software preferred
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Professional, team-oriented attitude with a strong sense of ownership
