AR/Collections Temp

KBW Financial Staffing is working with a client in Somerville, MA to fill this role. The position is temporary with potential to transition to permanent, fully onsite.

Responsibilities

• Manage AR processes: collect outstanding balances, post payments/credits to the GL, and maintain accurate account records for analysis
• Perform credit reviews and analysis for new and existing customers/vendors while resolving discrepancies impacting collections
• Support month-end close, including AR reconciliations, schedules, and sales/AR tie-outs
• Ensure compliance and reporting: maintain sales tax data and exemptions and track credit/collection metrics

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3+ years of AR and collections experience
• Strong communication, phone presence, and negotiation skills
• Advanced Excel proficiency with heavy reporting and analytical capabilities
• Highly organized, adaptable, and able to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines both independently and in a team environment

Pay

$26–$30 per hour, depending on experience.
