AR/AP Specialist
Job Description
Contacts customers to resolve late and/or non-payment invoices
Summarizes receivables by maintaining invoice accounts
Accomplishes Company’s mission by completing related duties as assigned
Maintain tax exemptions for exempt customers
Issue sales invoices/credit notes
Preparation & sending out of monthly statements
Apply all receipts from customers
Processing of Direct Debit’s in a timely manner
Cash application
Special projects
Maintain an up to date aged analysis
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 Year associate degree - concentration in business management - accounting
- 3-5 years' of direct accounting experience preferred
- Strong Excel knowledge with ability to learn advanced Excel functionality
- Comfortable with a changing, fast paced environment
- High degree of integrity including ability to successfully deal with sensitive or confidential information
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- SAP Concur, Epicor Prophet 21 preferred but not required.
- Experience in construction liens and waivers a plus
Hours
Monday – Friday
8 AM - 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM – 5 PM
No overtime
