AR AP Clerk

Position Title: AR AP Clerk We are seeking an experienced AR AP Clerk to support the day-to-day accounting operations of a growing manufacturing and distribution environment. This role will primarily focus on accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, payment processing, shipping adjustments, and maintaining accurate sales records, with additional support for accounts payable. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and critical thinking matter. Salary Range: $29-$32 / hour, DOE Responsibilities Produce and manage customer invoices, ensuring billing information, shipping charges, and adjustments are accurateMonitor accounts receivable and follow up consistently on outstanding invoices and collectionsProcess credit card payments, refunds, and customer checks and accurately record transactions in QuickBooksMaintain the open sales report and ensure account information remains current and accurateReview transactions for discrepancies, unusual activity, or billing issues and proactively flag concernsSupport accounts payable processing several times per monthManage a high-volume workload of approximately 700–800 invoices per month while maintaining accuracy and organization Requirements 5+ years of accounting experience with a strong background in accounts receivable and accounts payableHands-on experience with QuickBooks, preferably QuickBooks DesktopExperience working for a distributor or company that sells and ships physical products, with an understanding of invoicing and shipping-related chargesStrong proficiency with Microsoft 365 and OutlookBachelor’s degree preferred, with relevant experience consideredStrong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with the judgment to identify unusual transactions and ask the right questionsMust be a U.S. citizen due to requirements associated with government contractsMust be able to commute reliably to Centennial, Colorado for a fully onsite schedule Benefits Temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential Medical insurance benefits available during the temporary employment period through the staffing agencyTwo weeks of paid vacation upon conversionPaid major holidaysAdditional time off may be provided around holiday weekendsConsistent full-time, 40-hour workweek If you are an experienced accounting professional who takes pride in accuracy, solves problems proactively and wants a stable role with a collaborative team, we encourage you to apply.
