Aquatics Facility Manager

Compensation $26.50 - $30.00/hour Full-time, hourly Summary We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly experienced individual to join our team as an Aquatics Facility Manager. In this crucial role, you will be at the forefront of managing and operating two aquatic facilities, ensuring the highest standards of safety and creating an enjoyable environment for all patrons. Essential Duties Create and manage facility budgetManage day-to-day operations of the aquatic centersDirectly manage swim lessons and swim teamDirectly manage lifeguards, swim instructors, and customer service representativesCoordinate communication with the City/Municipality and Aquatic Center PartnersAttend marketing events throughout the cityPromote year-round activities at the aquatic center and drowning prevention within the communitySchedule staff and manage payroll for the aquatic centersManage all cleaning and maintenance at the aquatic centersManage inventory for concessions and merchandiseKeep facility compliant with all City and State requirementsEnsure the safety of guests, program participants, and team membersMaintain the aquatic center websitePerform other related duties as assigned Requirements QUALIFICATIONS Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent requiredMust be able to obtain and maintain a StarGuard Elite Lifeguard Instructor CertificationExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesAbility to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriateAbility to make decisions, meet targets and work under pressureA sense of urgency, comfort with ambiguity, drive for results and ability to remain true to the company’s purposeProficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software Preferred Bachelor’s degree3-5 years of relevant experience in the Aquatics industryBilingual in both English and Spanish PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job.
