About the role
We are open Monday through Friday and do not work weekends or evenings. Our techs typically work an average of 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Technicians are dispatched remotely and work within zones near their homes.
- Daily routes are tailored to each technician’s capabilities.
- Techs can dictate the order of jobs based on their knowledge of the area.
- Access to manufacturer tech support and technical tools.
- Participation in an internal “Tech Support” group for collaborative problem-solving.
- Reporting work done and needs to the company via an easy-to-use app.
- Behind-the-scenes administrative tasks handled by the company.
- Opportunities to produce more repairs and increase billing opportunities.
- A monthly bonus program available.
Requirements
- Fairly knowledgeable about large and portable appliances, mechanical work, and electrical work.
- High mechanical aptitude.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Skilled in using repair tools.
- Ability to lift heavy machinery.
- Incredible troubleshooting skills.
Qualifications
- Prepared to work with a variety of appliances including dishwashers, microwaves, and dryers.
- Highly skilled in troubleshooting problems.
