About the role
Groundswell is a premier technology integrator and solution provider dedicated to addressing the complex challenges faced by federal agencies. As part of our mission to drive change at a rapid pace, we seek an experienced Technical Appian Consultant.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on Appian implementation on our delivery teams and serve as a trusted advisor to our clients.
- Help scale Groundswell by offering expert guidance on solution delivery and designing cutting-edge Appian solutions.
- Guide clients on design, configuration management, DevSecOps, and other program initiatives to ensure technical success.
- Ensure solutions are scalable and performant, and support process improvement for our clients.
- Mentor and train resources to enhance the capabilities of our team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in developing Appian solutions.
- 2+ years of related IT experience.
- Preference given to candidates with active Appian Senior or Lead certifications.
- Strong experience with Appian delivery using an Agile methodology.
- Strong technical design and implementation skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong analytical and strategic foresight.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a high-paced environment, and multi-tasking.
- Experience working with Appian, RDBMS (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL/MariaDB), web services, integrations and middleware (e.g., RESTful/SOAP, Mule/IIB/Fusion).
- Experience with cloud computing/IaaS (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), authentication (e.g., SAML, Kerberos, OAuth, LDAP), data management and data visualization/BIDevSecOps and/or Configuration Management, machine learning, artificial intelligence.
- US Citizenship required.
- Preference given to candidates local to the DC Metro area.
- Some travel may be required for client meetings (0-15%).

- Reasonable estimate of the current salary range: $98,855.00 - $138,979.00.
