Appian Developer Consultant - Civilian

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on Appian implementation on delivery teams and act as a trusted advisor to clients.
• Help scale the business by guiding solution delivery and designing cutting-edge Appian solutions.
• Ensure solutions are built for scale and performance, and support internal processes and tools to improve efficiency.
• Drive process improvement for clients and mentor and train resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in developing Appian solutions.
• 2+ years of related IT experience.
• Preference given to candidates with active Appian Senior or Lead certifications.
• Strong experience with Appian delivery using an Agile methodology.
• Strong technical design and implementation skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, and strong analytical and strategic foresight.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a high-paced environment.
• Experience working with Appian, RDBMS (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL/MariaDB), web services, integrations and middleware (e.g., RESTful/SOAP, Mule/IIB/Fusion).
• Experience with cloud computing/IaaS (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), authentication (e.g., SAML, Kerberos, OAuth, LDAP), data management and data visualization/BI, DevSecOps and/or Configuration Management, machine learning, artificial intelligence.

• US Citizenship required.
• Preference given to candidates local to the DC Metro area.
• Some travel may be required for client meetings (0-15%).

Pay

The salary range for this role is $98,855.00 - $138,979.00, taking into account various factors including skill sets, experience, and training.
