Appian Developer Consultant - Civilian

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on Appian implementation on delivery teams and act as a trusted advisor to clients.
• Help scale the business by guiding solution delivery and designing cutting-edge Appian solutions.
• Ensure solutions are scalable and performant, and support process improvement for clients.
• Mentor and train internal resources to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with clients on design, configuration management, DevSecOps, and other program initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in developing Appian solutions.
• 2+ years of related IT experience.
• Prioritization of candidates with active Appian Senior or Lead certifications.
• Strong experience with Appian delivery using Agile methodologies.
• Strong technical design and implementation skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong analytical and strategic foresight.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with Appian, RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL/MariaDB), web services, integrations, middleware, cloud computing, authentication, data management, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and DevSecOps.
• Preference given to candidates local to the DC Metro area.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• Experience with cloud computing and IaaS platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Experience with authentication mechanisms (SAML, Kerberos, OAuth, LDAP).
• Experience with data management and data visualization.
• Experience with DevSecOps and Configuration Management.
• Experience with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.

Skills

• Appian certification.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $98,855.00 - $138,979.00, taking into account various factors such as skill sets, experience, and organizational needs.

Schedule

Some travel may be required for client meetings (0-15%).
