Appian Developer Consultant - Civilian

Groundswell is a premier technology integrator and solution provider dedicated to addressing the complex challenges faced by federal agencies. As a small company with a big impact, we're seeking a Technical Appian Consultant who can bring expertise and innovation to our projects.
Responsibilities
- Implement complex technical solutions with Appian and related technologies
- Hands-on design, development, and test activities
- Guide clients on design, configuration management, DevSecOps, and other program initiatives
- Ensure solutions are built for scale and performance
- Drive process improvement for clients
- Mentorship, training, and enablement of resources
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in developing Appian solutions
- 2+ years of related IT experience
- Preference given to candidates with active Appian Senior or Lead certifications
- Strong experience with Appian delivery using an Agile methodology
- Strong technical design and implementation and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a high-paced environment, multi-task (prioritize and manage)
- Preference given to candidates local to the DC Metro area
- Experience working in cloud computing/IaaS (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Experience working in authentication (e.g., SAML, Kerberos, OAuth, LDAP)
- Experience working in data management and data visualization/BIDevSecOps and/or Configuration Management
- Experience working in machine learning, artificial intelligence

The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Groundswell, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
Pay
A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $98,855.00 - $138,979.00
Schedule
Some travel may be required for client meetings (0-15%)
