About the role
Groundswell is a premier technology integrator and solution provider dedicated to addressing complex challenges faced by federal agencies. As part of our mission to drive change, we seek an experienced Technical Appian Consultant to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on Appian implementation on our delivery teams and serve as a trusted advisor to our clients.
- Help scale Groundswell by offering expert guidance on solution delivery and designing cutting-edge Appian solutions.
- Guide clients on design, configuration management, DevSecOps, and other program initiatives to ensure technical success.
- Drive process improvement for our clients and support internal solutions, infrastructure, and tools.
- Mentor and train resources to enhance their capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in developing Appian solutions.
- 2+ years of related IT experience.
- Preference given to candidates with active Appian Senior or Lead certifications.
- Strong experience with Appian delivery using an Agile methodology.
- Strong technical design and implementation and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and multi-tasking abilities.
- Preference given to candidates local to the DC Metro area.
- Experience working with Appian, RDBMS (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL/MariaDB), web services, integrations and middleware (e.g., RESTful/SOAP, Mule/IIB/Fusion).
- Experience with cloud computing/IaaS (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), authentication (e.g., SAML, Kerberos, OAuth, LDAP), data management and data visualization/BIDevSecOps and/or Configuration Management, machine learning, artificial intelligence.

- US Citizenship required.
- Experience with Appian, RDBMS, web services, integrations and middleware, cloud computing/IaaS, authentication, data management and data visualization/BIDevSecOps and/or Configuration Management, machine learning, artificial intelligence.
Skills
- Certification: Active Appian Senior or Lead certifications preferred.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $98,855.00 - $138,979.00, taking into account various factors including skill set, experience, and training.
Schedule
Some travel may be required for client meetings (0-15%).
