About the Role
The Lahey Diabetes Advanced Practice Clinician Fellowship is a 12-month postgraduate training program designed for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants seeking advanced clinical training in diabetes management and endocrinology. Through hands-on clinical experience, structured education, and dedicated mentorship, fellows develop expertise in:
- Outpatient and inpatient diabetes management
- Diabetes technology, including CGM and insulin pump therapy
- Diagnostic interpretation and treatment planning
- Patient and caregiver education
- Interdisciplinary team-based care
- Exposure to endocrinology practice across multiple clinical settings
