Apartment Leasing Agent

About the role

The Apartment Leasing Agent at Campus Apartments is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the property to ensure customer satisfaction, fiscal stability, and good physical condition. This role includes leasing assistance, managing property licenses, and responding to resident concerns.

Responsibilities

• Aid in leasing efforts to achieve full lease-up and maintain high occupancy levels
• Mailing renewal offers, logging responses, and managing property availability
• Reviewing, entering, and presenting rental applications to the General Manager for execution
• Managing property licenses and the renewal process through liaison with legal counsel and the City
• Ensuring compliance with final account statements during the check-out process
• Investigating and responding to resident concerns in a timely manner
• Preparing weekly reports related to property performance as required
• Developing and implementing advertising/marketing programs and resident retention programs
• Performing general administrative tasks such as filing, typing, answering phones, and using various office equipment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
• Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
• Ability to operate various office equipment including fax machine, copier, telephone, personal computer, typewriter, calculator, adding machine, key machine, key card system, and vacuum
• Strong computer skills and math ability, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Knowledge of Entrata (preferred)
• Ability to accurately prepare documents and ensure grammatical and legal correctness
• Compliance with all federal, state, and local laws
• Positive, professional, and enthusiastic attitude
• Excellent customer service skills
• Logical thinking and ability to follow standardized procedures with occasional deviations
