Anesthesiology Physician Job with UPMC in Altoona, PA

About the role

The UPMC Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine is seeking highly talented cardiothoracic anesthesiologists to provide anesthesia care at UPMC Altoona. Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in anesthesiology, be fellowship-trained in cardiac anesthesiology, and possess or qualify for an unrestricted medical license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Cardiac position
• Schedule: daylight coverage, M-F 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM
• Call: All days - beeper call 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• CRNA supervision, 2.75:1 concurrency target
• Hospital has 13 anesthesiologists and 31 CRNAs
• Academic appointment: yes

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in anesthesiology
• Fellowship-trained in cardiac anesthesiology
• Unrestricted medical license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
