Otolaryngology Physician Job with UPMC in Altoona, PA
About the role
Provide a full complement of head and neck surgery services in a tertiary health system that serves nearly 1 million people in a 6-county region.
Responsibilities
- Referrals come from a broad base of UPMC employed primary care physicians, neighboring community physicians, ER and Trauma team
- Practice is located in newly constructed 90,000 square foot medical office complex which also houses audiology, allergy and immunology service, imaging and lab
- Nearby hospital has 12 ORs; ambulatory surgery center has 6 ORs
- Opportunity to practice in neighboring rural hospital
Requirements

Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery
- Experience in providing comprehensive head and neck surgical services
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
