About the Role
HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is seeking Anesthesia Assistants to join the Anesthesia team at HCA Memorial Health University Medical Center, a Level I Trauma Center in Savannah, Georgia. Responsibilities
- Work within an Anesthesia Care Team model covering 30 sites of service, including surgical and procedural areas such as:
- Gastrointestinal diagnostics unit
- Labor and delivery
- Angiography suite
- Electrophysiology
- Radiology services
- Handle a diverse mix of cases, including:
- Trauma
- Cardiac
- Complex Neuro/Spine
- OB/GYN
- General surgery
- Orthopedics
- Urology
- GI
- Pediatrics
The hospital performs over 24,000 surgical cases and 3,000+ OB cases annually.
Requirements
- Master’s degree from an accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant program
- Certification through the National Commission for Certification of Anesthesiologist Assistants (NCCAA)
Team Structure
The Anesthesia Care Team consists of:
- 16 General Anesthesiologists
- 3 Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists
- 60 CRNAs/Anesthesia Assistants
Schedule
- Flexible scheduling with 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts available
